No OMA … it’s Glasgow, not Glass Cow.
It’s a rare occasion in Glasgow, but the sun came out today! OMA enjoyed walking the city streets and finding his way to George Square and looking upon the Glasgow City Chambers. Though the square is named after King George the Third, controversy surrounding the War of American Independence – coupled with his reputed madness – resulted in a different tribute statue being erected. Sir Walter Scott (Scottish historical novelist, playwright, and poet) stands atop the square centre’s 80ft column.
But don’t look too disappointed, OMA. We found you a glass cow anyway.
